Core Policy – Magallan Aerospace Supply
1. Definition
Magallan Aerospace Supply's Core Policy applies to transactions involving aeronautical components, drones, or technical systems that foresee the return of the removed unit ("Core Unit") as part of the commercial negotiation.
“Core” refers to a used unit, removed from service, that may be eligible for repair, overhaul, exchange, or trade credit upon technical evaluation.
2. Commercial Modalities
Magallan Aerospace Supply may offer, as applicable:
a) Exchange
The customer receives a new, refurbished, or certified unit upon return of the eligible removed unit (Core).
b) Repair & Return
The unit sent by the customer is technically evaluated. If repairable, it can be repaired and returned to the customer upon approval of a quote.
c) Core Credit
Where applicable, the removed unit may generate partial trade credit toward the purchase of a new or refurbished unit, according to the supplier's technical criteria.
d) Outright Purchase
The customer may choose to purchase Core directly without returning it, subject to availability and current commercial conditions.
3. Core Eligibility
For the removed unit to be considered eligible:
-
It must match the same Part Number or equivalent accepted by the supplier;
-
It must not exhibit irreparable structural damage, severe corrosion, tampering, or the absence of critical components;
-
It must be shipped according to the logistical instructions provided;
-
It may be subject to technical inspection by the manufacturer or a certified workshop.
Final acceptance of the Core will depend on the supplier's technical evaluation.
4. Deadlines for Submitting the Core
In the case of Exchange or Core Credit transactions, the customer must return the removed unit within the timeframe specified in the commercial proposal.
Failure to submit within the deadline may result in:
-
Full charge for the unit supplied;
-
Cancellation of provisional credit;
-
Adjustment to the final transaction value.
5. Technical Evaluation
Every Core unit received may go through:
-
Initial visual inspection;
-
Detailed technical assessment;
-
Verification of applicable documentation;
-
Analysis of maintenance history (when available).
If the unit is considered:
✔ Repairable → a repair quote will be provided;
✔ Eligible for credit → the corresponding amount will be applied;
✖ Not eligible → the refusal will be communicated, and the item may be returned to the customer subject to logistical costs.
6. Documentation and Compliance
Where applicable, the customer may be asked to provide:
-
Maintenance history;
-
Removal information;
-
Declaration of origin;
-
Technical documentation required by authorities or manufacturers.
Magallan Aerospace Supply operates in accordance with aerospace industry business practices and relies on the technical guidelines of manufacturers and certified workshops.

-

-
Market conditions;
-
